I remember when girls used to say the only thing nice about the way I looked was my hair. It was long, and curly. Now, It’s funny. The same girls 6 years later are telling me that I’m gorgeous, and that I should model. Even funnier, the cutest guys back in grade school used to pick on me all the time. I was the tallest girl in all of my schools until 10th grade. They’d call me a walking tree, and my curly fro were my branches, and leaves. Yeah, I remember it all. Now, The same guys, who in which are now monstrous, are requesting me on Facebook, and asking for my number. I can’t tell you how many times someone from elementary, or middle school has said to me, “Wow, you’ve changed”. But, I’m glad to say, That I’m still the same girl from 2004. Nerdy, tall, skinny, and awkward as ever. It’s just amazing how looks can change the way people think of you. Ha, Fuck all of you guys.
I cannot wait for my traditional!!!

- Online window-shopped

Maybe I’ll start studying for that Law Exam. Maybe.

One thing I don’t like about first generation African Americans is that some of them try to hide the fact that they’re African..period. Like, how can you be ashamed of your own culture?
